Somewhere In 1994

1. Jun. 1994

The words blend
As the concrete splatters;
We fill up earthen holes
That we have dug.

The cast-iron skillet simmers
With oil made for a higher purpose
Of eating.

A dog barks,
Sad—barkie—sad—barks.

And I am empty,
As I am full…
Now I am full of emptiness.
A U M Shanti-Shanti-Shanti.

And I am ignorrant by laziness,
As I am enlightened by content.

In 1994 a formcarpenter writes a poem about enlightenment. Doing hard work sometimes leads to laziness but also sometimes to enlightenment.
